A three story, state-of-the-art addition to Talbot Laboratory on the engineering campus at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is scheduled for completion in 2021. This addition will be shared between the Department of Aerospace Engineering and the Department of Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering.
The second floor of the Talbot Expansion will be home to new LASSI Laboratory facilities, including a mission operation center which will be named for astronaut and alumnus of the Dept. of AE Steve Nagel, who died in 2014.
