IlliniSat-0 is LASSI's next generation CubeSat. Designed in collaboration with UIUC's 4H/Extension, IlliniSat-0 is a 10 cm X 10 cm X 10 cm (1U) low earth orbit CubeSat. A versatile payload interface board allows any number of experiments to be performed onboard the satellite. 

A complementary engineering development unit is also being made available for middle and high school students to development and test their own experiments. Example payloads investigations include seed germination in microgravity, message store and forward systems, and low earth orbit environmental sensing.
