Rick Eason, LASSI Lead for Integration and Test, Kelsey Ortiz, Physics Lead for SEAQUE, and Murphy Stratton, LASSI Lab Manager, travelled to Morehead , KY this past weekend with the SEAQUE ground test optics bench. The objective was to investigate how well the optics payload would stand up to vibrations induced by the launch vehicle on its ride to orbit. The Team was happy to report that the critical alignments between optics components were maintained despite the "rough" treatment the payload received in the test. These results allow us to now move forward confidently with the final assembly of the flight unit.
